Lauren (pronounced "luh-REHN") is a vocalist, pianist, music educator, and private voice instructor based in San José, California. She holds a Bachelor of Music Education with a choral emphasis from San José State University and an Associate of Arts in Music with a vocal performance emphasis from American River College. Lauren has performed with numerous collegiate and professional ensembles, including Areté Singers, Symphony San José Chorale, San José State University Choraliers, Sacramento Master Singers, and the National Concert Choir at Carnegie Hall. Her performance experience spans several genres, including choral, operatic, pop, rock, vocal jazz, and liturgical music. Lauren has studied internationally at the Cambridge Choral Academy in the United Kingdom. In addition to performing, Lauren has also studied conducting, piano, and guitar, and has studied voice since the 2010's. She is passionate about encouraging strong musicianship, artistic expression, and a lifetime love for music through both performance and education.
