Find Music Lessons

At San Jose School of Music, we offer piano, voice, and guitar lessons that combine solid musical training with the fun of learning the songs and styles you love. Our piano teachers guide students through sight reading, technique, and theory while incorporating favorite pieces from classical to pop; even a simple electronic keyboard is enough to get started. Voice students explore styles such as rock, pop, country, jazz, gospel, musical theatre, and R&B while building fundamentals like breath control, tone, and ear training—whether their goal is to sound like their favorite artists, develop a unique style, or even improve their speaking voice. Guitar students can learn electric or acoustic in rock, blues, metal, country, or classical styles, beginning with chords, melodies, and sight reading, then progressing into theory and advanced techniques, always ending lessons with something fun like a favorite riff or song. No matter the instrument, our teachers create a warm, encouraging environment that inspires confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of music.​​​​​​​
