Tritia began her musical journey at the age of 9 and later earned a BA in Music from UC Berkeley. She fondly remembers the positive influence her piano teacher had on her life and strives to bring that same encouragement and joy to her own students. Tritia believes that music teaches skills that extend beyond the keyboard, and helping students grow is a key reason why she loves teaching.

In her lessons, Tritia creates a safe, positive, and engaging environment where students feel comfortable exploring their creativity. She sets clear, attainable goals to keep them motivated and enjoys incorporating games and a multi-sensory approach to make learning both fun and engaging. Recognizing that each student is unique, she tailors her teaching to match their individual learning styles and musical goals.

In addition to piano, Tritia is also a singer and plays some guitar, so students may occasionally hear her singing along during lessons. When not at the piano keyboard, she can be found at her computer keyboard working as a User Experience and Visual Designer or mentoring other designers. Outside of music and design, Tritia enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, and crocheting.
